Magnific AI Review 2026: Is It Worth the Price?

Magnific AI, formerly Freepik, is worth it if you create images, video, or audio regularly and want 30+ leading AI models, Magnific's own upscalers, and 250M+ stock assets under one subscription. Plans start at 10.50 EUR/mo billed annually. It is not worth it if you want a free plan, because Magnific has none.

What Is Magnific AI?

Magnific AI is an all-in-one creative platform for images, video, and audio. It started as an AI image upscaler that enlarges pictures up to 10K resolution while adding real detail, and it now bundles 30+ AI models, an image and video generator, text-to-speech, a background remover, an image editor, and a shared node-based canvas called Spaces. Every plan also includes 250M+ premium stock photos, videos, vectors, and PSDs plus a commercial AI license.

Key Features

• Magnific upscalers — enlarge images up to 10K with added detail; Topaz upscaling on higher plans
• 30+ AI models in one place — including Nano Banana, Veo 3, Kling, Flux, and ElevenLabs
• Image, video, and audio generation — plus text-to-speech and sound effects
• Editing tools — background remover, image editor, and camera-angle reframing
• Spaces — a shared node-based canvas for team workflows and version comparison
• 250M+ stock assets — photos, videos, vectors, and PSDs included
• MCP support, plugins, ComfyUI integration, and API access on eligible plans

Pros and Cons

Pros

• One subscription replaces separate image, video, audio, and stock-asset subscriptions
• Magnific's upscalers are its signature feature and enlarge images up to 10K with real detail
• 250M+ premium stock assets and a commercial AI license come with every plan
• Strong team features through Spaces, plus MCP, ComfyUI, and API access

Cons

• No free plan, so every tier requires payment
• Advertised prices are billed annually in euros, and monthly billing costs noticeably more
• Unlimited generations apply only to select models; premium and newest models still use credits

Who Should Use Magnific AI?

Magnific AI fits creatives, marketers, agencies, and studios that produce ad creative, product shots, social content, and short video and want every leading model and stock library in one place. It is a weaker fit for casual users who only need an occasional image, since the lowest plan is still a paid subscription.
